Zoo Entry


We're open every day (closed Christmas Day) from 9:30AM to 4:30PM. Final admission is 3:30PM.



One caregiver is given free entry when accompanying disabled persons aged three years or older (children under three years are free) who are requiring assistance. We do ask for suitable supporting documentation and identification e.g. Community Services Card or a letter from a health practitioner. Please let our reception team know on arrival.



It's simple! Select your tickets, pay online, show your unique code to reception when you arrive, and you're in. 

buying as a gift?

If you're purchasing online tickets as a gift for more than one person, make sure you do each transaction separately so you receive a unique code for each online ticket. Tickets purchased in one transaction receive just one unique code

please note: 

Children 15 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Proof of eligibility will be required on entry for seniors 65+, community services card holders and students.



For groups of 10 people or more, book and pay together and receive a special discounted rate (does not include children under 3 years).

Hamilton Zoo Annual Pass

Pay once, visit everyday!

Experience Hamilton Zoo as often as you like with the freedom of an Annual Pass. And with a variety of options, you can choose the Annual Pass that works best for you.

Annual passholders also receive 15% discount on purchases at the Zoo retail shop and 10% discount at the Everyday Eatery Zoo Kiosk.

please note: 

On your initial visit, bring with you your purchase confirmation received via email OR your unique code. 

Reception will take your photo to keep on file and give you your Annual Pass card.
