Looking for a school holiday experience that’s both fun and meaningful? At Hamilton Zoo, your child will step into the shoes of a real wildlife guardian for a day of hands-on learning, animal interactions, and behind-the-scenes access.

Each day of our programme offers a unique opportunity to explore the zoo through the lens of animal care and conservation. From training sessions to enrichment activities, kids will take part in real zoo tasks that deepen their understanding of how we keep our animals happy, healthy and safe, as well as how we can protect the wild.

By booking this School Holiday Programme, you are supporting vital conservation work. 80% of your purchase goes towards the Hamilton Zoo Conservation Fund.

• Dates: July 6th-9th and 13th-17th
• Ages: 7–12 years.
• Time: Drop-off between 8:15–9:00am | Pick-up between 3:30–4:30pm.
• Location: Hamilton Observatory (located in the middle of the Hamilton Zoo carpark)
• Cost: $69 per child per day

What to Bring:

• Morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea
• Drink bottle
• Weather-appropriate clothing (including wet weather gear)
• Fully enclosed footwear
• Sun protection
• Any regular medication (with instructions provided during booking)
