School Holiday Programme at Hamilton Zoo
Wild learning. Real adventures. Unforgettable memories.
Looking for a school holiday experience that’s both fun and meaningful? At Hamilton Zoo, your child will step into the shoes of a real wildlife guardian for a day of hands-on learning, animal encounters, and behind-the-scenes access.
In partnership with the Jane Goodall Institute New Zealand, each day of our programme offers a unique opportunity to explore the zoo through the lens of animal care and conservation. From training sessions to enrichment activities, kids will take part in real zoo tasks that deepen their understanding of how we keep our animals happy, healthy and safe. And how we can protect the wild.
