Take a quick tour through the Weka Walk with a keeper to meet and learn about our Weka Walk natives - the North Island weka, kea, geckos, skinks and reptiles. At 11am everyday this week. Meet at the top of the Weka Walk. For our keeper talk schedule CLICK HERE

A unique opportunity to our tuatara up close. Available Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th at 12noon. Limited spaces available so check in with reception when you arrive. For our Face2Face schedule CLICK HERE

While you're here at the Zoo, check out our Conservation Garden over by the playground. Discover how you can show your backyard some love that will attract birds, bugs and reptiles. Make a plan for making your own garden a haven for birds, bugs and reptiles, or take a photo of something you've done in your garden for these guys - share it with us and go in the draw to WIN a Hamilton Zoo Annual Family Pass. That's FREE daytime visits to Hamilton Zoo for two adults and up to four children for a whole year!

Upload your plan or your photo HERE.

Grab an activity booklet and set the kids off to learn more about conservation and have a great time doing it! Head around the Weka Walk and Free Flight Aviary on a native adventure, answer the questions, return your booklet to reception AND you'll be in the draw to WIN a premium zoo tour experience for four, including admission.

Snap a photo in the Weka Walk or Free Flight Aviary during Conservation Week and be in to WIN a premium zoo tour experience for four, or a Family Annual Pass.

Upload your photo HERE before Wednesday 25 October. Winners will be announced on Monday 30 October.

Two categories:

  • Under 16 years
  • 16 years and over
