The theme of Earth Day 2024 is 'Planet vs. Plastics', a great opportunity to look into your recycling habits and actively cut down on single use plastics!
We have partnered up with Hamilton City Councils Waste Minimisation/Education team and our onsite cafe, Everyday Eatery to bring you some activities, competitions and giveaways this Earth Day!
Earth Day Activities
HCC's 'Fight the Landfill' team will be onsite from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm, with some fun interactive activities for kids to enjoy.
Come and learn all about waste reduction and proper recycling in a fun and engaging way!
Take part in their colouring competition and go in to win an awesome eco-themed Zoo prize pack RRP$80.50
Terms & Conditions
- Hand completed colouring sheets to Hamilton Zoo reception, send via message on social media to Hamilton Zoo, or email to zooinfo@hcc.govt.nz
- A winner will be drawn at random from all entries submitted.
- A new winner will be drawn if the winner cannot be reached within 72hrs.
- Prize cannot be redeemed for cash or exchanged.
- Hamilton Zoo staff and immediate family will not go into the draw for this giveaway.
- Winner must collect prize from Hamilton Zoo, prize cannot be shipped.
